Printmaking workshop
In the printmaking workshop there are plenty of possibilities to experiment. We work with a number of different printing techniques such as woodcut, screen printing, drypoint etching, digital printing and more.
We offer workshops, guide residency programs and assist artists in individual projects. If you have an inquiry about an individual project, please contact us. Over the summer we are offering a number of one-day woodcut workshops (see below).

COLOUR WOODCUT WORKSHOP
15.-17.11.2024, kl. 10-15
Would you like to try working with woodcut in several colours, printed with an old letterpress proofing press? In this 3-day course you’ll get the chance to try this exciting technique. We print in CMY (Cyan, Magenta and Yellow), to achieve a wide range of mixing colours. We will be using the electric inking mechanism on the press. To make our marks on the wood blocks we use traditional woodcut knives, dremel and jigsaw. The paper size is A3.
It is also possible to work with linoleum cut. In that case you should bring your own linoleum.

WOODCUT CRASH COURSE
We print postcards in one colour, based on a drawing, sketch or photograph that you bring. We print in A5 format, so it is great if your image is already within that size (148 x 210mm).
The image is transferred onto a wood block using carbon paper, after which you cut it out with a carving knife. You can then print it on the press with a color of your choice. Finally you can take the finished prints with you.
Duration: 4 hours
Price: DKK 500 p.p. – incl. materials
The course can be booked by groups of 4 or more participants
