About Agerupgård

Agerupgård is a former farming estate built in 1911, located rurally and central on the island of Samsø.

The buildings are surrounded by large old trees, an extensive garden with fruit trees and a small forest. The large garden once was a beautifully landscaped and well-kept countryside garden. Today it still is a large, lush and atmospheric place that we love to work on. It contains flowers and scents, shadows and greenery in thickets and under giant trees, lawns in the sun, views of the surrounding fields, hiding and reading places.

In the garden you can relax, make a bonfire, have fun on the trampoline, take a walk in the little forest or meet our cat Fu and the chickens. In case of bad weather and by appointment you can play table tennis or table soccer in the large barn.

Agerupgård also holds a printmaking studio, which offers workshops for groups. We organize events and concerts in the old barn, host exhibitions in the former horse stable and project space.

Since August 2022 we, Hannah, Johann and our son Bo, live and work on the farm. The Bed & Breakfast was carefully started and maintained over the last 23 years by the previous owners, Frits and Cecilia Andersen. We look forward to run the farm into the future and welcome many guests.
